League leaders Palermo headline the latest triple-header of Serie B fixtures live on Destination Calcio TV.

The Rosanero are top of the table with a perfect record after three games and will hope to make it four wins on the bounce when they travel to Avellino on Sunday afternoon.

The DCTV cameras will also be in Benevento on Friday night, when Gli Stregoni welcome Verona, and then in Cesena where the hosts face Cremonese on Saturday evening, as we broadcast three matches, live and free, during every round of fixtures.

Benevento vs Hellas Verona (Friday, September 11 – 8pm)

Benevento’s return to Serie B has got off to an inauspicious start with just one point from three games. Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at fellow newcomers Ascoli was arguably the most worrying yet, as they created very little and eventually conceded late, albeit after playing for more than 50 minutes with 10 men.

Losing at home would surely set alarm bells ringing in Campania and put Antonio Floro Flores under even more pressure.

Verona, meanwhile, arrive in Benevento looking to build on their 5-0 thrashing of Arezzo. Having failed to live up to the tag of promotion favourites in the first two weeks of the season, they turned it on to pick up a much-needed first win.

The question now is, can they keep it up and show the kind of consistency required to return to Serie A at the first time of asking?

Cesena vs Cremonese (Saturday, September 12 – 6:30pm)

Cristian Shpendi was on the verge of a move to Cremonese this summer, only for the deal to collapse on deadline day. Not that the Cesena striker seemed fazed by the developments, firing home a late equaliser to rescue a point against Mantova and keep the Bianconeri’s unbeaten record intact.

Shpendi gets to face the side he almost joined, when Cremonese arrive at the Dino Manuzzi on the back of their first league win of the season.

Among the favourites to return to Serie A at the first attempt, the Grigiorossi lost both of their first games without scoring and sacked Marco Giampaolo, with Fabio Pecchia taking over.

The managerial change paid immediate dividends with Cremonese beating Padova 3-1. Pecchia won promotion with La Cremo back in 2022. Can he repeat the feat?

Avellino vs Palermo (Sunday, September 13 – 2pm)

Defeat on the opening day of the season at home against newly promoted Arezzo had punctured Avellino’s balloon of optimism, but they responded by trouncing Vicenza and then securing an impressive 1-0 win in Modena at the weekend.

Michele Besaggio’s piledriver proved the difference as the visitors drew level with the Canaries in fifth place in the table with six points, but a sterner test awaits Alessandro Nesta’s men on Sunday.

League leaders Palermo arrive at the Stadio Partenio looking to build on their best start to a league season in 62 years.

Filippo Inzaghi had urged his players to live up to the tag of pre-season favourites and the Sicilians have done just that, dispatching Sampdoria at home on Monday night to sit the top of the table on their own.
