Fans of Vicenza and Padova can start planning for Serie B’s tastiest derby after the 2026-27 fixtures were announced.
The calendar was revealed at the Teatro dei Filarmonici in Ascoli this week ahead of the big kick-off on the weekend of August 22.
Vicenza are back in the second tier after securing promotion from Serie C by cruising to the Group A title last season. They will make the short trip east to the Stadio Euganeo on the weekend of December 5, with the return fixture scheduled for the weekend of February 13.
Relegated Verona will also be aiming for the bragging rights in Veneto, while Ligurian rivals Sampdoria and Virtus Entella have their own derby days to look forward to around Halloween weekend and late January.
Elsewhere, Tuscan rivals Pisa and Arezzo will lock horns over the next nine months. The Nerazzurri are back in Serie B after a season in the top flight, while Arezzo won Serie C Group B to make the step up to the second division for the first time in almost two decades.
Like Pisa and Verona, Cremonese dropped down from Serie A and will be looking to make a quick return, while Palermo will again be among the favourites to go up.
The Rosanero featured regularly on Destination Calcio TV last term and they get their campaign underway by welcoming Empoli to the Renzo Barbera.
DCTV will again be showing three games live and for free during every round of fixtures.

The regular season runs from August until the weekend of May 14, before the promotion play-offs and relegation play-out settle the outstanding issues.
There are four midweek rounds in the diary during the new campaign, in the last week of October, the last week of November, the week of December 8 and again on March 2.
