Sampdoria’s Crunch Clash With Juve Stabia to be Shown Live on Destination Calcio TV as Rearranged Matchday 34 Games are Announced
By Brian Lee
The final round of Sampdoria’s fight for Serie B survival will be shown live on Destination Calcio TV after the selected fixtures for rearranged matchday 34 were announced.
The full Easter Monday schedule was postponed last month following the death of Pope Francis and Tuesday May 13 was quickly confirmed as the new date.
Sampdoria travel to Juve Stabia, who are safe in the play-off places, on what is now the final day of the regular season.
The Blucerchiati have never been in the third tier in their 79-year history but are in danger of slipping through the trapdoor, sitting in 18th place with two games to go following a draw with Catanzaro at the weekend.
The bottom three go straight down, with the teams finishing 16th and 17th facing a play-out. Before their live encounter against the Wasps, Sampdoria, three points behind 15th-placed Frosinone, host Salernitana on Friday night.
Brescia and Reggiana are also battling to stay in the second tier and their clash at the Mario Rigamonti will be shown live on DCTV, along with play-off chasing Bari’s match at Sudtirol.

Reggiana have been flirting with danger for most of the campaign but have given their survival chances a timely boost with three straight wins, taking them up to 13th. But they are just two points better off than Brescia who sit 16th.
Bari’s bid to keep their place in the top eight and extend their season into the play-offs will be well covered by DCTV as their penultimate game of the campaign, at Cittadella on Friday night, had already been selected as part of our coverage for May.
The Biancorossi occupy eighth place, the final play-off position, on the same points as Cesena but ahead of them on goal difference.
