The opening match of the 2025-26 Serie B season will be shown on Destination Calcio TV while two of the favourites for the title will also be broadcast live and for free across the first weekend.
Pescara, back in the second tier after winning promotion through the Serie C play-offs, host Cesena under the lights at the Stadio Adriatico on Friday August 22.
The following day, Palermo’s latest bid to return to Serie A begins at home to Reggiana. The Rosanero kick off the campaign as favourites for promotion following Filippo Inzaghi’s move to Sicily after leading Pisa back to Serie A last term.
Monza, Empoli and Venezia moved in the opposite direction back in May. Venezia have been up and down between the two divisions over the last few seasons and, with Giovanni Stroppa at the helm, will start their bid to go straight back up when Bari head north on the opening Sunday.
Reggiana feature again on matchday 2 when their home clash with Empoli kicks off the live DCTV action on Friday August 29. Spezia, losing play-off finalists in June, host Catanzaro on the Saturday, before our first look at Sampdoria on the Sunday evening when they travel north to take on Sudtirol.

It is only a couple of months since the Blucerchiati pulled off their great escape by beating Salernitana over two legs at the end of a season during which they went through four managers. Massimo Donati is the man in charge now.
Samp are then back on DCTV after the first international break, with Cesena, who lost in the early round of the promotion play-offs back in May, visitors to the Luigi Ferraris.
Newly-promoted Avellino and Padova will also be shown on the weekend of September 13, with their home games against Monza and Frosinone, respectively, available live and for free.

Each match is available across a number of territories. All of DCTV’s live Serie B broadcasts are shown in the USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, the Caribbean and South America.
